Service was awesome. The chef came by to talk to us which was pretty cool. He recommended the trout and the veal so we got both. I had the veal and it was quite good. The potatoes were ok and the creamy greens were so so. At the end we got the creme brulee and I have to say it was one of the better ones ive had. Super cool that they use the books from the former library for their checks and guests get to write notes in them. Great atmosphere. I'd come back for sure.

We called to make reservations and mentioned it was our anniversary and they said, "which one"? When we stepped into the restaurant the manager greeted us with "Happy Anniversary" with such warm enthusiasm I was shocked. We went to our table and rose petals had been placed on the table along with two long stemmed roses and a card signed by the staff. The experience was amazing, so e thing we have never experienced before, kind, warm and generous. Other staff member came by also. Obviously we highly recommend this restaurant.

Had an amazing dinner 10/28/17. Absolutely one of the best meals I've ever had and I'm a foodie! Service was excellent, atmosphere was great, totally impressed!

The staff is wonderful! Everyone is extremely nice and cheerful; they went all out to make the elderly in our party comfortable. The place's decor is great and the food is ok, guess I was hoping for something a little more tasty considering how expensive it is. It gets really noisy and we left because having a conversation was a challenge.

RESERVATIONS IS A MUST!!! WILL NOT SEAT WITHOUT IT.

The Library Kitchen & Bar opened early January of 2017, and they have truly killed it (opened year around, RARE). The restaurant is only a 15 to 20 minute drive from Highlands. The inside is extremely nice and inviting, with open kitchen bar seating if you really want to watch your food being cooked, and a killer bar as well (the bartender goes above and beyond, fantastic cocktails; he knows his stuff); also there is a fireplace in between the two bar arrangements. Now onto the food, JUST AMAZING, unbelievable presentation, and it taste better than it looks (hard to do). Definitely get the oysters if still in season, and above all get the crostini (incredible). This place is a must while visiting and/or living here. I really hope you guys make it.
