What a beautiful place. Much better then I could have ever imagined
It's awesome. One of my favorite places to eat anywhere. Food is great and the setting is spectacular.
My wife and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Absolutely amazing experience. We arrived 30 minutes early for drinks on the back lawn overlooking the stunning view of the exposed granite mountains surrounding the valley. Dinner was a four course prix fixe menu. Every plate was very well designed, and ultimately made for a delicious and filling dinner. I had a pork chop for the main course and a bourbon themed dessert, both were quite good. Luckily we were seated near the fireplace, which made for a very nice ambience in the open air barn. The price makes this a "special occasion" restaurant, but one that we will 100% visit again.
We had the best dinner at Canyon Kitchen Tonight. While waiting a short while for our table, we enjoyed having a glass of wine and touring the property and garden. Then when we sat down for dinner we had four amazingly fresh courses of food. Our courses ended with amazing desserts, that were homemade and so delicious!! We are both NC Natives, and this is the best place we have had dinner in NC. We would recommend Canyon Kitchen to anyone.
Excellent views, cocktails and food. If you are in the area, it is a must try. Hiked the falls 4 miles in and out to rainbow falls and dinner after was our reward. Excellent food and we earned it!
